Yusmarg or Yousmarg (meaning ‘Meadow of Jesus’) is a hill station in the western part of Kashmir Valley in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Doodganga River which is a tributary of Jehlum River. It is located in the Pir Panjal peaks, a sub range of Himalayas.

Day wise itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival Srinagar Airport
On arrival at Srinagar airport, you will be met by our representative who will drive and transfer you to the hotel at Srinagar. Overnight stay. In the evening enjoy Cycling ride arround dal lake.
A healthy breakfast followed by an assistant who will be examining your cycles for your Trip and guide thereof. A start of the trip with the flag off ceremony towards Yousmarg from the heart of valley ‘Srinagar’. this will be a 48 Kms Ride while crossing the magnificent and appealing views of Dal lake. on the way you will ride chari shareef (Dargah)via budgam road And few kilometers ago we will be reach our destination Yousmarg.
Yusmarg in Kashmiri means The Meadow of Jesus. It is believed by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community that Jesus came to Kashmir and stayed at Yusmarg for some time. It is an alpine valley covered with snow clad mountains and the meadows of Pine and Fir. It lies 13 km (8.1 mi) south of Charari Shareef a town of Budgam District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated at the bank of Doodganga River which is a tributary of Jehlum River. It is located in the Pir Panjal peaks, a sub range of Himalaya. The Peaks are: the Sunset Peak and the Tatakooti peak for which the expeditions lead from this hill station. It lies at an altitude of 2,396 m (7,861 ft) above sea level. over night stay in camps at yousmarg.
A healthy breakfast followed by an assistant who will be examining your cycles for your Trip and guide thereof. Cycling from Yousmarg to doodganga. its 4kms return trail. Overnight stay at yousmarg in camps.
After breakfast, Cycling towards Doodpathri. The name “doodpathri” means Valley of Milk. Situated at an altitude of 2,730 metres (8,960 ft) from sea leve It is said that the famous saint of Kashmir Sheikh ul Aalam Sheikh Noor din Noorani has prayed here and once when he was in search of water in the meadows,to offer prayers, he pricked the ground with his stick to search for water and milk came out. He asked the milk that you can only be used for drinking and not performing ablution.Hearing this milk at once changed its state to water and the meadow got its name Doodpathri. The water which is at present flowing through the meadows has a milky appearance from the distance and remains very cold throughout the year.The lush green grasses over the vast meadows and silver shining streams running over the large stones further increase its beauty. Doodhpathri is sloping grassy landscapes with a diversity of multicolored flowers up to Chang. The famous Tousaimaidan lies in the west of Doodpathri. over night stay in camps.
Its rest day at doodpathri, Explore the whole Dodpathri as well as Toisamaidan. Over night stay in camps.
After breakfast ride towards Srinagar.

After breakfast cycling towards Shankaracharya Temple (Uphill 5kms/ Down Hill 5kms). Named after the great saint, Shankaracharya, this temple is situated atop Gopadari Hill and is a revered Hindu pilgrimage site. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this spiritual place can be reached after climbing around a hundred steps. It stands strong in an octagonal structure, resembling the shape of a Shiva linga.

After this, journey to the Mughal Gardens and explore its unending beauty. With bright and colourful flowerbeds, gushing fountains and terraced lawns, the panoramic expanse of Mughal Gardens is beyond description.

After a jaunt to the astonishing sites of Srinagar, treat yourselves by indulging in some shopping at the bustling Lal Chowk. You can buy locally produced products, such as leather goods, embroidered mats and carpets, antique jewellery and the highly demanded Pashmina shawls.

After spending some moments of relaxation, proceed to experience a soothing shikara ride. Unique in its own way, Dal Lake captures the sight of all with its ever-charming beauty and floating market. The pulsating surroundings of this lake make it even more peaceful and will also rejuvenate you completely. Later, check-in at the Houseboat/ Hotel Followed by a hearty dinner, enjoy a pleasurable overnight stay.
